My name is Daniel Kiio and I live in Shirley, Massachusetts. Currently I am enrolled in the Bachelors of Science in Information Technology program with a Minor in Business at University of Massachusetts in Lowell. My background is in information systems where I have worked for the past 6 years. Upon graduation I would like to use my technical skills and so called soft skills to further my career in information systems. Career goals are to work with cutting edge technologies and become part of management. One of the courses that have been a real eye opener as I pursue my goal has been management information systems. It is relevant, insightful, and a valuable resource for people who want to manage information systems. I hope to do well and understand the concepts.

How about the beautiful new england summers? Captured here by this hiker who has finally conquered the mountain top. This is a frequent pastime for the outdoorsy types who at the drop of a hat will venture out and be one with nature! Trails aplenty beckon to the adventurer with backpacks and water bottles and the occasional walking stick as evidenced by the wanderer at hand, the trails are full of explorers.

This is the other favorite pastime of new englanders especially those away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Tucked away from the masses you will find the one soul seeking solace in a little brook or creek. Bass I say... or is it Salmon as they travel upstream to spawn pickings for the anglers abound. The Orvis bedecked sport fisherman or like the good fellow here in the local bait and tackle store garb are a regular sight at little streams.
